Family Place Partnerships

The Family Place Partnership is a collective of five individual Family Places located across Vancouver. Within this partnership are Marpole Oakridge Family Place, South Vancouver Family Place, Westside Family Place, Eastside Family Place, and Mount Pleasant Family Centre. The five Family Places regularly come together to support each other and share best practices. Each location offers a nurturing and secure space where parents, caregivers, and children can find support, engage in play based learning, access parenting resources, and build community connections. 

BC Community Response Networks (BC CRN)

The British Columbia Association of Community Response Networks supports a network of communities through education, collaboration, and awareness initiatives. Their partnership supports a broader network of community collaboration and education, helping ensure that all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and care. With their support we have been able to deliver individualized support and offer initiatives that raise awareness, foster connection, and help prevent abuse, neglect, and isolation among vulnerable adults.

BC Council for Families

The BC Council for Families supports families, serves professionals and strengthens communities through education, collaboration, and awareness. The BC Council for Families provided valued support to strengthen our programming. Their contribution helps us deliver inclusive, skill-building opportunities that promote confidence, connection, and overall well-being across our community.

Families Canada

Families Canada is the national association for family support centres, working with a diverse network of private, public, non-profit, and academic partners to strengthen families and communities across Canada. Through collaboration, they help deliver evidence-informed resources, training, and programs that support organizations serving children, youth, and families. Their partnership approach helps build capacity, share knowledge, and enhance the impact of family support services nationwide.

The Federation of Community Social Services of BC

The Federation of Community Social Services of BC is a provincial association representing over 155 member organizations that deliver essential social services across British Columbia. As members, we work alongside children, youth, families, and seniors, providing frontline support that strengthens community well-being and addresses complex social challenges. Through this partnership, we are continuing to strengthen our connections within the broader social services sector, increase access to shared knowledge and resources, and enhance our ability to better support families and seniors in our community.

Yared Nigussu is an internationally acclaimed artist based in Vancouver, celebrated for his vibrant, expressive style and global presence. His work has appeared in exhibitions and galleries around the world, and even featured prominently on the Vancouver Canucks jersey. We are honoured to showcase many of Yared’s pieces at MOFP, where his artwork beautifully captures the spirit of the city, the richness of its culture, and the natural landscapes that inspire his creativity
