Heatlhy family cooking

Through our hands-on cooking program, families will practice healthy lifestyle behaviors, such as cooking nutritious meals and group physical activities.

When it happens: Wednesdays, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sept 29 – Nov 3.

Baby Group

Supporting parents in being their baby’s first teacher, we will provide some songs and rhymes to help develop your child’s oral language skills.

When it happens:  Wednesdays, 01:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Sept 23 – Dec 7.

CONNECTING SENIORS PROGRAM​

Our online seniors programs include Ipad course, social interaction via zoom, wellness workshops, cooking together and other craft activities.

IPAD FOR SENIORS​

Use the Internet and connect with your family and friends safely and comfortably.

 

An online video course about using iPad to explore the web, create and share photos and videos.

Our Services

Drop-In Program

We welcome everyone with children aged infant to six years old to play in a safe environment, make friends, chat with other parents with a cup of coffee. It’s only $1 a day per family.

Parenting Programs

Our Parenting Programs are educational courses that teach parents and caregivers general parenting skills, and help them to develop and maintain positive relationships with their children.

Seniors Programs

Marpole Oakridge Family Place hosts both weekly and yearly events for seniors. For weekly events please refer to the upcoming events below or refer to the calendar.

Literacy Programs

Literacy is English language learning, life skills development and learning. Connect with us at our weekly Conversation Circles.

Birthday Parties

Host your child’s next birthday party at MOFP. Our facility has a large playroom, a multipurpose room with tables and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen.

Multipurpose Space

Our modern site includes folding chairs, folding tables, projector & screen, white board, coffee maker.

Marpole Oakridge Family Place is a not-for-profit organization which has been supporting families, grandparents, caregivers and children aged 0-6 years for over 43 years. Our purpose is to promote the health and well-being of the community.
