Our Drop-In Program is open for parents, grandparents and caregivers with children aged infant to six years old. Children can socialize and play in a clean and safe environment. Meet other parents and caregivers, and gain community connections. Find out about resources available to parents. Talk with qualified and experienced staff.
The first visit is free and thereafter the daily drop-in fee is $2 per family per visit. Subsidy is available: if needed, ask the Drop-In staff for details.
The Drop-in room is nut-free and scent-free environment. Strollers are to be parked outside the front door and although outside shoes are permitted in the Drop-in room: please bring inside shoes or anti-slip socks to change into on wet days.

An interactive, fun and educational circle time for Parents, Caregivers and children. Circle time offers story time, singing, daily weather and calendar and seasonal activities.

Storytime with VPL Librarian
Hosted by the Vancouver Public Library Children’s Librarian, once a month, we provide focused reading and learning time for children 0-6 years. Focus of the story time is early literacy development.

Drop-In Program at Marpole Neighbourhood House
In addition to our main facility at 8188 Lord Street we’re adding a new location in Marpole Neighbourhood House at 8585 Hudson Street.

Play and Learn Preschool
Play and Learn Preschool program for preschoolers ages 3 to 5. A unique holistic play-based program for children aged 3 to 5 years. Come imagine, explore, discover, and experiment at MOFP! Healthy lunch included.

Potluck / Tea Party
Potlucks or Tea Parties are organized based on celebrations that happen throughout the year. It is a great opportunity for socializing and for children and adults to try out new foods from many cultures.

From time to time, health related workshops are offered by Marpole Oakridge Family Place. These include dental workshops, sun safe workshops, health nurse sessions, and others. Parents are welcome to suggest ideas for these workshops.

Dad and Me
The program offers a full hot breakfast followed by an interactive circle time including singing, storytelling and fun activities. Join us for this joyful morning and meet other dads with children in the community. The program is free for members. No registration required.
