Our Drop-In Playroom is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm (except holidays) for parents, grandparents and caregivers with children aged infant to six years old. The first visit is free and thereafter the daily drop-in fee is $1 per family per visit. Subsidy is available: if needed, ask the Drop-In staff for details. The Playroom is nut-free and scent-free environment. Strollers are to be parked outside the front door and no outside shoes are permitted in the drop-in room: please bring inside shoes to change into.

An interactive, fun and educational circle time for Parents, Caregivers and children. Circle time offers story time, singing, daily weather and calendar and seasonal activities in a variety of languages such as Chinese and Japanese.
Hosted by the Vancouver Public Children’s Librarian, a once a month, we provide focused reading and learning time for children 0-6 years. Focus of the story time is early literacy development.
Potlucks are on the last Friday of the month and are paired with monthly Birthday Celebrations. It is a great opportunity for socializing and for children and adults to try out new foods from many cultures.

From time to time, health related workshops are offered by Marpole Oakridge Family Place. These include dental workshops, sun safe workshops, health nurse sessions, and others. Parents are welcome to suggest ideas for these workshops.
