Community Meals at the St Augustines Hall on 8680 Hudson Street:

Thursday night dinner from  6:30 pm - 7:30 pm - $6 or pay what you can.

Friday morning breakfast from 9:30-10:30 am -  $4 or pay what you can.


Special Interest programs:

  • The Stitch in Time Needle Craft and Social  Group, and Ping Pong  takes place on Mondays from  1-3 pm at St Augustines Hall at 8680 Hudson Street.
  • The Walking Club meets on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 am at  Wicks Cafe on 73rd and Hudson St
  • The Stretch and Strength Chair Yoga and Social group meets Fridays from  11-12 at St Augustines Hall at 8680 Hudson Street
  • Games Drop In ( Bridge, Scrabble and Ping Pong) is on  Fridays from  1-3pm at St Augustines Hall at 8680 Hudson Street
  • The Grandparents Learn and Lead social program is on Mondays from 12:30-2:30 at Marpole Oakridge Family Place on 8877 Selkirk Street


Upcoming Events: 


World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2017 will be celebrated on Thursday June 15 from 12:30 to 3:30 pm at Marpole Oakridge Family Place

on 8877 Selkirk Street with a luncheon and inspiring speakers.  This is a free event but booking is required.  Booking will open on May 15.  Please contact the Marpole Seniors Outreach Coordinator on 778-668-3634/


Everything Marpole is a community event to be held on Saturday July 8, 2017.  Mark this date in your calendar for an opportunity to meet face to face with the wonderful literacy,  education,  settlement and service organizations of Marpole and to meet some of the participants of the Marpole Skills Bank!

The Grandparents Learn and Lead Program:  Mondays from 12:30 – 2:30 pm at 8877 Selkirk Street, Vancouver.
This is an empowering,  grandparent-led weekly drop in program which includes English Language learning, skill sharing,  exercise and special events.  Everyone is welcome.
