    Sing-Alongs, puppet shows, story time, movement and other fun and developmentally stimulating activities!! Come and join our Family Fun Circle Time lead by our parents and caregivers.

  • Our Drop-In Playroom is open Monday to Friday from 9:00-12:00.
    The Playroom is nut-free and scent-free environment.
    Drop-in activities include:

    • Arts and crafts
    • Tea, coffee, and pastries available by donation
    • Educational toys
    • Weekly Playroom Programs

    Dad and Me Drop In Program 
    This program is for dads with young children.  The program will run until March 11th, 2017
    Dad and Me activities include:

    • breakfast for Dad and Child
    • playtime
    • circle time
  • Wednesdays 9:45-10:00 Come and join the fun of this energetic and educational circle time! 

  • This interactive fun program gives young and old a chance to learn and play with the phonetic sounds of the English language through games, songs, stories, felt stories and more.  

  • An interactive, fun and educational circle time for Parents, Caregivers and children.  Circle time offers  story time, singing, daily weather and calendar and seasonal activities in a variety of languages

  • Every Thursday at 9am, bread donated by Cobs Bread on 4th Avenue, Vancouver is available for FREE!

  • Potlucks are on the last Friday of the month and are paired with monthly Birthday Celebrations.  It is a great opportunity for socializing and for children and adults to try out new foods from many cultures.

  • We celebrate many diverse multi-cultural festive celebrations.  See our monthly calendar for details.

  • From time to time, health related workshops are offered by Marpole Oakridge Family Place.  These include dental workshops, sun safe workshops, health nurse sessions, and others.   Parents are welcome to suggest ideas for these workshops.  Watch our calendar!

  • Families venture out monthly on a group field trip.  Field trips include going to places such as the Vancouver Public Library, picnics in local parks, Steveston Pumpkin Patch, and Marpole Fire Station. These field trips expose parents to local resources for families, and increase positive involvement in community life. In addition, three times a year we participate in Marpole Oakridge Community Festivals.
